Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

The food is legit 10/10: high quality, beautifully executed, and it came out fast. Service was great overall, and Rachel was especially attentive and friendly. Definitely coming back.

We got the Family Combo and they started with the Egg Rolls, which came very crispy but the flavor of the filling was quite underwhelming - almost like a flavorless mush. The sweet and sour sauce definitely helped - 6.5/10. The hot pot soup was definitely loaded with tons of meats and flavors. The things that stood out to me was the broth itself, which was amazing. Almost as if a soup version of Lao Gan Ma. The noodles felt overcooked in my opinion, as I would've preferred a more al-dente bite - 7.5/10. The dry hot pot was personally my favorite of all the dishes. The noodles here had a little more bite which makes sense given that it's not having to slow cook in a hot broth. There were pieces of French fries in this dish, which I welcomed but I thought to be interesting? Similar to the soup based hot pot, this dish came with tons of meats. The spice profile was mala, of course, and definitely felt like it enhanced the overall palate instead of hindered. It was very easy to enjoy - 8/10. The fried rice was actually the first main item that we tried. I would've preferred the rice to be much much dryer, but it came pretty moist and almost borderline "mushy". The flavor felt insubs

Basil Thai has become one of my regular go-to spots for lunch. Iβve been here plenty of times, and the experience has been consistently good. The food is always flavorful and well prepared. Two of my personal favorites are the Singapore noodles and their hot potsβboth are packed with great flavor and always satisfying. The service is fast, which makes it a convenient option for lunch during a busy day. I also like their in-restaurant online ordering system, which makes placing orders quick and easy. I ended up signing up for their rewards membership as well since I come here fairly often. Overall, a reliable Thai restaurant with tasty dishes and efficient service. Definitely one of my favorite Thai spots in the area.

basil thai never misses!! my friends and i come here all the time. the portions are humongous, especially the hot pots and dry pots, and i love the build-your-own options. there's a wide variety of veggies and meats to choose from, and the protein portions are always sooo generous. the prices are on the higher side, but one pot is easily big enough for two people to share. their mala dry pot is properly spicy and numbing without being too greasy or salty. the curries and lemongrass sizzling plates do lean a little sweeter, though. service is incredibly fast and super friendly, and i leave in a food coma state every single time :D

The restaurant has a cozy and relaxing atmosphere, making it a comfortable place to dine. The QR code ordering system is convenient and easy to use. In my personal opinion, the food flavors were on the milder side. It may be suitable for those who prefer lighter tastes, but I personally would have enjoyed a slightly stronger and more flavorful seasoning. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
